Carnet is a digital notebook that brings together productivity and journaling, available at gocarnet.com. It lets you organize your tasks, appointments, notes and thoughts in a structured, flexible interface.
Carnet is published by PEACEFOOD, a SAS (French simplified joint-stock company) with a share capital of €2,000, SIREN 848 023 370, RCS Créteil, registered office: 14 avenue du Général de Gaulle, 94160 Saint-Mandé, France.
Changes, fixes and updates may happen at any time.
Access to Carnet requires an account created with Google or with a magic link sent by email.
You are responsible for the security of your email address and of access to your Google account. Any activity carried out from your account is your responsibility.
Paid access to Carnet costs $10 per month, taxes included.
There is no annual plan for now.
Payment is handled by Stripe. When payment is active, paid access costs $10 per month, taxes included, first charged when the free trial ends (or as soon as you subscribe if you already had your trial) and then renewed automatically every month.
Once the payment system is enabled, your first subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. The $10/month charge, taxes included, is taken when the trial ends, or as soon as you subscribe if you already had a trial.
Free trial: its length (7 days, sometimes more with a special offer) is shown on the subscription page along with the date of the first charge. Your card is requested when you sign up, but nothing is charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the $10/month subscription, taxes included, starts automatically unless you canceled it beforehand from your account, in which case nothing is charged. One trial per person.
The subscription renews automatically every month unless you cancel it through the Stripe portal, available from your account.
When the payment system is active, you can cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe portal, available from your account.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, or at the end of the free trial if you cancel during the trial (nothing is charged then). You keep access to the service until that date.
In principle, you have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Carnet is a digital service provided as soon as you subscribe, free trial included: by subscribing, you expressly ask for immediate access and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation).
Without this agreement, the subscription cannot be purchased. You remain free to cancel at any time: during the free trial, nothing is charged; after that, no further charge is taken and you keep access until the end of the month already paid for.
You remain the owner of everything you write in your notebook: tasks, notes, pages, brain dump.
You grant Carnet a limited license to host, back up and display your content as part of the service. This license ends if you delete your content or your account.
How your personal data is handled is described in detail on our Privacy page.
Key points to remember:
Carnet is provided on a best-effort basis. We do our best to keep the service available and stable, but interruptions may occur.
Feature changes, fixes and updates may be deployed without notice.
For any question, account deletion request or to exercise your rights, contact us at elyane@emotions.co.
Deleting your account erases your notebook and your data. Automatic database backups are gone within 7 days.
Carnet also sells online courses, such as Elyane's “Beneath the Surface”: videos, guided audio sessions and a downloadable workbook. A course is bought once, at the displayed price, by card through Stripe. The receipt is sent by email.
A course and the Carnet subscription are independent: buying a course doesn't subscribe you to anything and doesn't give access to the Carnet app; the subscription doesn't give access to courses.
Access opens as soon as you pay, on a personal account created with the email address used at checkout (or the Carnet account with that address). You keep your 14-day right of withdrawal where it applies (for consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK): the guarantee below covers it. Access is personal: the videos, sessions and workbook must not be shared or distributed.
14-day guarantee: Carnet fully refunds a course to anyone who asks within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, by writing to elyane@gocarnet.com. The refund goes back to the payment method used, and access to the course ends.
A course is not therapy and doesn't replace medical advice.
These terms of use are governed by French law.
